Grizzly
The “Grizzly” (Clearpath robotics Ltd) is an all-terrain rugged, 4×4, skid steered, electric vehicle. The Grizzly is controlled by the open-sourced Robotic Operating System (ROS). We have integrated the Grizzly with a stereo vision camera, SICK 2-D Lidar 2-D, dGPS – with 2 cm accuracy, IMU, and long-range WIFI communication. All of these sensors are working under ROS and can be simulated in Gazebo.
Relevant research projects:
- Air-Ground collaboration
- Autonomous Stretcher
- Deep Learning off-road navigation
Husky
The Husky (Clearpath robotics Ltd) is a medium sized robotic development platform. Our robot is equipped with SICK and Hokuyo LiDARs, cameras, and a 7 DOF Schunk LWA 4D manipulator with Robotiq’s 3-Finger Adaptive Robot Gripper.
Relevant research projects:
- Air-Ground collaboration
- Safe pile dissasembly
Jackal
The Jackal (Clearpath robotics Ltd) is a small, fast, entry-level field robotics research platform. It has an onboard computer, GPS and IMU fully integrated with ROS for out-of-the-box autonomous capability. We integrated the Jackal with SICK 2-D Lidar and Intel’s realsense camera.
